
In response to customer demand, we developed our organic product line in 2004. Working closely with select chefs (who provided us with valuable feed-back through the research and development phase) we adapted our established pasta-making recipes, ingredients, and methods to meet the demands of this ultra-premium gourmet selection. Like our Classic line, Nature’s Pasta™ Organic is made in small batches, but from certified organic Canadian durum wheat and our farm-fresh organic free run eggs, naturally enriched with Omega3. Organic certification (including verification of all supplier sources) is provided by Quality Assurance International (QAI), an internationally recognized certifier of organic food systems and products (read more at http://www.qai-inc.com). Solid brass extrusion dies provide the Organic line with a lightly textured surface (less ‘glossy’ than the Classic line) providing outstanding flavour adherence for pasta sauces, aromatic dressings, and herbal oils.
